THE RECIPE OF THE PIEDMONT hazelnut cake:
INGREDIENTS FOR 10 PEOPLE:
- 00 Flour 200 gr
- 200 g caster sugar
- Piedmont Hazelnuts Shelled 150 gr
- BUTTER 100 gr
- No. 3 EGGS
- LEMON
- N 1 packet of yeast
- OLIVE OIL
- A LITTLE OF MILK
PROCEDURE:
Toast the Piedmont hazelnuts, peel and chop finely.
Break the eggs into a bowl, add the piedmontese butter softened by a spatula , sugar and grated lemon rind, flour and baking powder sifted together.
Combine hazelnuts, a spoonful of olive oil and a cup of milk.
Mix everything together thoroughly, pour the mixture into a greased and floured baking pan.
Bake at 210 ° C for about 35 minutes.
Serve cold hazelnut cake served with honey.
